A Synthetic Pan-Aurora Kinase Inhibitor, 5-Methoxy-2-(2-methoxynaphthalen-1-yl)-4H-chromen-4-one, Triggers Reactive Oxygen Species-Mediated Apoptosis in HCT116 Colon Cancer Cells

<div>Effect of DK1913 on the activation of mitochondria-mediated caspase cascade in HCT116 cells. HCT116 cells were treated with 10 <i>μ</i>M DK1913 for 24 h. Cell lysates were subjected to immunoblotting using antibodies against caspase-9, cleaved caspase-7, caspase-3, and PARP. Arrows: proform; arrowhead: cleaved form; GAPDH: internal control.
