Rapid scan spectra for reduction of [IrCl₆]^2– by L-ascorbic acid (AA). Reaction conditions: [Ir(IV)] = 0.20 mM, [AA]_tot = 2.00 mM, [H⁺] = 0.200 M, μ = 1.0 M, temperature of 25.0°C. The spectra were acquired at 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 60, 70, and 80 milliseconds (ms) after mixing.
