Innovations in Green Plant Protection and Food Storage Technology
Description
Global food safety will remain a worldwide concern for the next 50 years and beyond. The occurrence of diseases has an impact on food safety at various stages in the food chain, from primary production through to consumption. Plant diseases during growth and storage periods have posed serious threats in agricultural production and have caused huge economic losses throughout the world each year.
However, the available traditional pesticides and preservatives used for plant protection and food storage may pose a danger to environmental safety and human health. Therefore, the development of novel and promising green plant protection and food storage technology is still an urgent task.
This Special Issue intends to highlight the innovation of new green plant protection and food storage technologies. Manuscripts submitted should present novel approaches and recent advances in the application of new and green plant protection and food storage technology and other relevant research fields. Original research and review articles are welcome.
