Exercise Increases Insulin Content and Basal Secretion in Pancreatic Islets in Type 1 Diabetic Mice

Under low glucose conditions, exercise improved the insulin secretion per islet significantly (# ). Under high glucose, there was no effect of exercise. * control versus both diabetic groups.
