Administration of VitB6 prevents endothelial dysfunction in mice fed with high-fat diet. Male mice at the age of 6 weeks received high-fat diet and VitB6 (50 mg/kg/day) administration in drinking water for 8 weeks. At the end of experiments, mice were sacrificed under anaesthesia. The descending aortas were isolated and cut into rings. (a) ACh-induced endothelium-dependent relaxation and (b) SNP-induced endothelium-independent relaxation were determined by organ chamber as described in Section 2.
