A progressive decrease in HOMA-IR scores reflective of improved insulin sensitivity was observed with SCD Rx. HOMA-IR scores trended lower 1-day post-SCD Rx course and were significantly lower at 1 week and 2 weeks after Rx course monitoring periods.
