The Four-Herb Chinese Medicine Formula Tuo-Li-Xiao-Du-San Accelerates Cutaneous Wound Healing in Streptozotocin-Induced Diabetic Rats through Reducing Inflammation and Increasing Angiogenesis

TLXDS treatment accelerated wound healing in diabetic rats. Percentage of wound closure (mean ± SEM) of 10 mm punch biopsies was monitored every other day until day 14 (a, b). Healing of diabetic wounds was significantly delayed compared with nondiabetic wounds at all observation time points (). TLXDS began to significantly improve wound closure on day 4 ().
