The Notch signaling pathways are shown mainly above. The Notch receptor on the cell membrane combines with a DII4 ligand and induces the translocation of NICD from cytoplasm into cell nucleus, binding with RNP-J. Likewise, TLR4 could play a role in Notch signaling pathway to regulate IRAK2, eif4E, and NF-κB, activating the RBP-J signal. However, SOCS3 inhibits one key protein IRAK2 among the signals above.
