SIRT1 Regulates Cognitive Performance and Ability of Learning and Memory in Diabetic and Nondiabetic Models

Oxidative stress (OS) is regulated by SIRT1 in cognition and learning and memory. SIRT1 may improve learning and memory by inhibiting OS, inhibiting the inflammatory response and hippocampal neuronal senescence, and decreasing the expression of tau and Aβ.
