Data are presented as mean ± SD, (%). BMI: body mass index; FPG: fasting plasma glucose; CAD: coronary artery disease; T2DM: type 2 diabetes mellitus. Independent -test was used to compare BMI, HbA1c, FPG, and T2DM duration between groups; Mann–Whitney test was used to compare the difference in T2DM duration between two groups. Age was compared by -test. Other phenotypic characteristics were compared by test between groups.
