The Autoantigenic Proinsulin B-Chain Peptide B11-23 Synergises with the 70 kDa Heat Shock Protein DnaK in Macrophage Stimulation

<div>Induction of inflammatory mediators from murine macrophages by the insulin B-chain peptide B11-23 and DnaK. J774A.1 cells were cultivated in the absence (medium) or presence of LPS, peptide B11-23, DnaK, or peptide-DnaK combinations at the indicated concentrations. Levels of TNF<i>α</i> (a) and IL-6 (b) in the culture supernatants were determined by ELISA.
