The Association between Type-2 Diabetes Duration and Major Adverse Cardiac Events after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention

(a) Patients with the most extended duration of diabetes have a significantly increased risk of myocardial infarction compared to those with shorter duration. (b) A significantly higher risk of repeat revascularization was observed in patients with longer duration of diabetes compared to those with shorter duration. (c) Diabetes duration was not significantly associated with an increased risk of all-cause mortality at 1 year.
