Brief description of the three main files in a PULSE experiment.

*.pgf	Stimulus Templates file	Root, Stimulation, Segment	Has the stimulus templates used (Stim Tree), which will be copied into the running experiment.
*.pul	Acquisition Parameters file	Root, Group, Series, Sweep	Has the complete data tree that includes all the amplifier settings and also contains the pointer to the data stored in the raw data file.
*.dat	Data file	Root, Group, Series, Sweeps, Traces	Has only the actual raw data without any timing or scaling information.
