Simulated S-parameter responses corresponding to the unit cell shown in Figure 2(b). The geometrical parameters for the unit cells are  = 12.3 mm, L = 2 mm,  = 0.18 mm, a₁ = 3.92 mm, a₂ = 3.92 mm, a₃ = 2 mm, a₄ = 1.2 mm, and a₅ = 3.2 mm. The electrical parameters of the equivalent circuit models in this case are L_d = 1.9 nH, L_c = 1.15 nH, C_c = 0.78 pF, L_r = 1.25 nH, and C_r = 1 pF [9].
