Changes in intestinal microbiota due to PM₁₀ in a mouse model. IL-10 knockout mice, a model for inflammatory bowel disease, were fed with either standard mouse chow (left) or standard mouse chow supplemented with PM₁₀ for 35 days [99]. Then, the bacterial composition in fecal samples of these mice was determined.
