Genetic, Structural, Physicochemical, and Molecular Epidemiological Landscape of Three New Mutations Found in the Spike (S) Protein of Highly Transmissible Sri Lankan Delta Variant Sub-lineage AY.28: A222V, A701S, and A1078S

The 38 amino acid sequence containing a single mutation (A701S) was searched using BLASTp search tool to identify candidates containing the abovementioned mutation. The resulting 10 polypeptides tabulated below possess the A701S mutation and the remaining 37/38 residues were identical in sequence.
