Contribution of Illicit Drug Use to Pharmaceutical Load in the Environment: A Focus on Sub-Saharan Africa

The possibility of the clandestine laboratory releasing contaminated effluents into the environmental compartments is higher than that in treatment schemes which may magnify the problem.
