Aqueous Extract of Sparganii Rhizoma and Curcumae Rhizoma Induces Apoptosis and Inhibits Migration in Human Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma

SRCR induced cell apoptosis and cell cycle arrest in sub-G1 phase in human OSCC cells. After incubating HSC3 and SCC4 cells with a control solution or SRCR at various concentrations for 48 h, the percentage of apoptotic cells was measured via flow cytometric analysis of (a-b) annexin V and PI double labeling; (c-d) flow cytometry was used to determine the cell cycle distribution of HSC3 and SCC4 cells treated with SRCR at various concentrations (30, 60, 120, 240, and 480 μg/mL) for 48 h. Results are expressed as mean ± SD. compared to the control group.
