For each approach, mean (SD) was based on 10 calibration trials. One-way ANOVA revealed a significant difference among calibration approaches. Post hoc analysis further revealed that data acquisition time for both actuator-based collinear point targets and modified collinear point target phantom calibrations was significantly shorter than that for the traditional freehand cross wire phantom calibration ( for each paired comparison). There was no significant difference in data acquisition time between freehand and actuator-assisted cross wire phantom calibration.
