Machine Learning and Blockchain Technology for Smart Healthcare and Human Health 2021

Description

At present, machine learning and blockchain technology are highly regarded in the world, various industries will be affected. The traceability, transparency, security, and decentralization of machine learning and blockchain technology will enable the healthcare industry to optimize and upgrade in many aspects. The application of machine learning and blockchain will make the operation of the healthcare industry more efficient.

Some current studies have initially explored the application of machine learning and blockchain technology. For example, a health management platform based on blockchain can allow users to securely track personal data, smart contracts will be used in medical identification to automatically handle emergencies. Machine learning is also significant in drug traceback of pharmaceutical companies' suppliers. It can securely store genetic through the use of private keys and form a DNA wallet, thereby enable researchers to develop drugs more efficiently. However, machine learning and blockchain technology still have many deficiencies in the application process, including how to build a new smart healthcare system, how to coexist with other technologies (big data, internet of things), and how to promote human health, these problems still need to be solved.

This Special Issue welcomes the contribution of various types of articles, including literature review, empirical research, case studies, etc. This Special Issue not only seeks research that can reflect the new characteristics in the field of healthcare but also looks forward to receiving papers with technology orientation.

Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:

  • Exploring the new framework of sustainable development of smart healthcare based on machine learning and blockchain technology
  • Summarizing the new characteristics of supply chain and promoting the development of human health in the field of healthcare
  • Building a new smart community from the perspective of stakeholders
  • Revealing the impact mechanism of machine learning and blockchain technology on human health
  • Combining machine learning and blockchain with other emerging technologies (big data, internet of things, artificial intelligence) for applications in the healthcare industry
  • Constructing the new framework of smart healthcare systems based on multi-technology intersection
