TLR3-deficient (TLR3−/−) mice have increased markers of IL-4-driven alternative activation compared to TRIF−/− mice. Markers of alternative activation included arginase-1 (Arg1), chitinase (Ym1), IL-4R, and macrophage mannose receptor (Mrc1) by qRT-PCR.
