Baicalin alleviates ankle inflammation in a murine adjuvant-induced arthritis model. (a) Chemical structure of Baicalin. (b) Adjuvant-induced arthritis mice were injected intraperitoneally daily with 100 mg/kg Baicalin or phosphate-buffered saline (vehicle control) between postimmunization days 14 to 21 and photographs of the swollen ankles were acquired.
