IFN-γ-Secreting-Mesenchymal Stem Cells Exert an Antitumor Effect In Vivo via the TRAIL Pathway
Figure 4
MSCs IFN-γ induced tumor cell apoptosis by activating caspase-3 within the target cells, a process which was mediated by TRAIL. MSCs IFN-γ were cocultured with H460 hrGFP cells for 24 h (a) and 48 h (b) in the presence or absence of an anti-TRAIL antibody. The activated caspase-3 was detected in the H460 hrGFP cells by immunofluorescence staining. (c) The percentage of activated caspase-3-positive H460 hrGFP cells was quantified using ImagePro 5.0 (, ). The reported results are representative of the results from three separate experiments.
