Cytokine production and effects in HDM-allergic and HDM-nonallergic individuals. PBMC from healthy controls and HDMA subjects were cultured for 72 h in the presence of glycerol vehicle or Der p before supernatants were collected for analysis. IL-4 (a) and IL-10 (b) production in cell-free culture supernatants were measured by ELISA. Results are expressed as means ± SEM. .
