Effect of SLPI on active caspase-3 and caspase-7 protein levels. U937 cells were pretreated with SLPI (10 μg/mL) and stimulated with TNF-α (10 ng/mL) for 4 hr. RIPA extracts were electrophoresed on 10–15% SDS-PAGE gels and analysed by Western blotting using anti-caspase-3 and anti-caspase-7 antibodies.
