Effect of lactoferrin on transcriptional levels of mucosal barrier functional markers. Transcription levels of muc2.2, β-def-1, and mmp9 were quantified by qPCR. Quantification was performed from a pool of ~60 intestines of larvae of 9 dpf after four days of feeding with different diets (ZFP, 100FM, 50SBM, 50SBM+LF1.5, and 100FM+LF1.5).
