Higher Sensitivity and Earlier Identification of Celiac Disease Autoimmunity by a Nonradioactive Assay for Transglutaminase Autoantibodies

<div>TGA levels from ECL assay and our current standard RIA were compared among 183 patients with type 1 diabetes. The cases without or with biopsy+ or − are shown in different markers. Four cases from biopsy group that became TGA negative by RIA were pointed by arrows.</div>
