Effect of previous vaccination with pVAXhsp65 at the CNS. C57BL/6 mice were immunized with 4 pVAXhsp65 doses and then submitted to EAE induction. Cytokine production was assessed 30 days after EAE induction. IFN-γ (a), TNF-α (b), IL-6 (c), and IL-10 (d) production were assayed in CNS infiltrating cells cultures restimulated in vitro with or rhsp65. The percentage of CD4+CD25+Foxp3+ T cells was evaluated in the total number of mononuclear cells from CNS 30 days after EAE (e). Data were presented by mean ± SE of 5 mice. represents the difference between immunized and control group with EAE. .
