Th1/Th2 Balance and Th17/Treg-Mediated Immunity in relation to Murine Resistance to Dextran Sulfate-Induced Colitis

<div>Cytokine production by T-LPLs in DSS-induced acute colitis model of BALB/c and C57BL/6 mice. Cytokine production in the supernatant of anti-CD3<i>ε</i>-stimulated cultured LPLs was analyzed by ELISA. Data indicate mean ± SD obtained from two independent experiments, in triplicate each. The levels of IL-1b and IL-23 in colon tissues were below detection limit and thus not shown.
