Fn14 deficiency reduces proteinuria in SCID mice. (a) Fn14 protein was determined in the kidneys by Western blotting. (b) IgG deposition was detected in glomeruli by immunohistochemistry. (c) The mRNA expression levels of Fn14 were determined in the kidneys by real-time PCR. (d) Similarly, the mRNA expression levels of TWEAK were also determined. (e–g) The levels of urine albumin, serum creatinine, and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) were determined in mice at sacrifice. There were eight mice in each group. Representative images are shown.
