GLP attenuated DSS-induced acute colitis. Mice were orally treated with 2.5% DSS in drinking water to induce colitis as described in the Methods. On day 7 after induction of colitis, changes were observed in (a) survival rate (); (b) body weight (%); (c) disease activity index (DAI); (d–e) colon length; (f–g) colon histopathological damage scores.
