Stimulation of Dectin-1 and Dectin-2 during Parenteral Immunization, but Not Mincle, Induces Secretory IgA in Intestinal Mucosa

Figure 7

Serum IgG and intestinal IgA after prime-boost immunization using squalene-based vaccines containing ovalbumin alone or in combination with Mincle, Dectin-1, and Dectin-2 agonists. Mice were immunized twice by subcutaneous injection. Naïve mice were used as negative control. (a) Serum total IgG, (b) serum IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b, and IgG3, and (c) intestinal IgA were quantified by ELISA 14 days after the second immunization. Data are individual log2 antibody titers from one representative experiment (6 mice per group), with geometric mean and 95% confidence interval indicated. ; relative to control group by Mann–Whitney t-test.
