Cyanidin-3-glucoside Alleviates 4-Hydroxyhexenal-Induced NLRP3 Inflammasome Activation via JNK-c-Jun/AP-1 Pathway in Human Retinal Pigment Epithelial Cells

C3G inhibited the activation of NLRP3 inflammasome induced by HHE in RPE cells. C3Gs (50, 100 μM) were pretreated to the ARPE-19 cells for 2 h, and then HHE was challenged for 6 h in serum-free culture mediums. Total RNA was collected and relative NLRP3, IL-1β, IL-18, and caspase-1 mRNA level are measured by qRT-PCR.
