pDC Activation by TLR7/8 Ligand CL097 Compared to TLR7 Ligand IMQ or TLR9 Ligand CpG

<div>Ligands of TLR7 and TLR9 can significantly increase PD-L1 expression on pDCs, and this function is stronger for TLR7 ligands than for TLR9 ligands. We harvested pDCs after activation with TLR7 ligands (IMQ, CL097, and CL075) and TLR9 ligands (CpG A, CpG B, and CpG C) for 24, 48, and 72 hours. The concentration of each ligand was 1.5 <i>μ</i>M. We then assessed the expression of the immune-inhibitory molecule PD-L1 on pDCs by flow cytometry.
