Increased Expressions of OX40 and OX40 Ligand in Patients with Primary Immune Thrombocytopenia

Figure 2

The expression of OX40 on CD4+ T cells in ITP patients. Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from 54 patients with ITP and 24 healthy controls (HCs) were isolated and stained with labeled antibodies and analyzed by flow cytometry, as described in Section 2. (a) The cells were gated initially on lymphocytes and then on CD4+ T cells. (b) The frequency of OX40+CD4+ T cells among the total CD4+ T cells from HCs and ITP patients. (c) The relationship between the frequency of OX40+CD4+ T cells and peripheral platelet counts in ITP patients with positive antiplatelet autoantibodies. (d) The relationship between the frequency of OX40+CD4+ T cells and peripheral platelet counts in ITP patients with negative antiplatelet autoantibodies. ITP(+): ITP patients with positive antiplatelet autoantibodies; ITP(-): ITP patients with negative antiplatelet autoantibodies. ; ; .
