Intranasal Application of Budesonide Attenuates Lipopolysaccharide-Induced Acute Lung Injury by Suppressing Nucleotide-Binding Oligomerization Domain-Like Receptor Family, Pyrin Domain-Containing 3 Inflammasome Activation in Mice

Budesonide suppressed the production of proinflammatory mediators induced by LPS. Twelve hours after LPS administration, the mRNA expression levels of TNF-α (a), IL-8, (c) and MCP-1 (e) in the lung were detected by real-time PCR. The protein concentrations of TNF-α (b), IL-8 (d), and MCP-1 (f) in the BALF were detected by ELISA.
