Immunoregulatory Effect of Koumine on Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease Rats

<div>Koumine reduces the production and mRNA expression of cytokines in activated T cells. (a) Model and 1.4 mg/kg koumine-treated rats were sacrificed to obtain the serum and measured for the cytokines by multifactor detection of flow cytometry. (b) The livers were isolated from model and koumine-treated rats, and after being homogenized, the supernatants were harvested to measure the cytokine production by ELISA. (c) The livers were isolated from model and koumine-treated rats, and mRNA expression of selected genes were measured by real-time PCR.
