Rapid and Efficient Purification of Functional Collectin-12 and Its Opsonic Activity against Fungal Pathogens

Opsonic properties of CL-12 towards the Aspergillus species and fungal pathogens. Isolates of fungal pathogen species were obtained from clinical specimens. Binding of purified CL-12 (6.5 μg/ml) to a panel of different fungal pathogens was assessed by flow cytometry. The MFI was used to assess protein binding. Results are representative of at least three independent experiments.
