Berberine Improves Inflammatory Responses of Diabetes Mellitus in Zucker Diabetic Fatty Rats and Insulin-Resistant HepG2 Cells through the PPM1B Pathway

Figure 11

Effect of BBR on the relative expression of PPM1B, PPARγ, LRP1, GLUT4, IRS-1, IRS-2, PI3K, AKT, pIKKβ Ser181, IKKβ, NF-κB p65, and JNK in HepG2-IR cells with silenced PPM1B by lentivirus. GAPDH was utilized as an internal reference. Data were obtained by measuring the gray value of each bar from the result of Western blotting and were presented as the fold change relative to that of GAPDH. and ▲▲, shRNA control group vs. shRNA PPM1B group; and , shRNA PPM1B+BBR group vs. shRNA PPM1B group; # and ##, shRNA control+BBR group vs. shRNA control group.
