IL-17 Affects the Progression, Metastasis, and Recurrence of Laryngeal Cancer via the Inhibition of Apoptosis through Activation of the PI3K/AKT/FAS/FASL Pathways

IL-17 inhibited apoptosis through the FAS/FASL pathway in LC cells. (a) The expression levels of cleavage of caspase-8 and cleavage of caspase-3 were examined by Western blotting in Hep-2 cells pretreated with siRNA-IL-17 for 24 h. Following culture for 24 h with or without (40 μM) Z-IETD-FMK for 0.5 h. (b) The expression levels of cleavage of caspase-8 and cleavage of caspase-3 were examined by Western blotting in Tu212 cells pretreated with siRNA-IL-17 for 24 h. Following culture for 24 h with or without (40 μM) Z-IETD-FMK for 0.5 h. All assays were performed in triplicate ( versus the control).
