Effect of BD-2 on PMC cytokine/chemokine mRNA expression. PMCs were incubated with BD-2 (1 μg/mL) for 1, 2, or 3 h. Total mRNA was extracted and converted into cDNA, and qRT-PCR was conducted to evaluate cytokine/chemokine mRNA expression. The expression of mRNAs was corrected by normalization based on the transcript level of the housekeeping gene rat Actb. Results are expressed as the mean of three independent experiments.
