Related Pentacyclic Triterpenes Have Immunomodulatory Activity in Chronic Experimental Visceral Leishmaniasis

<div>Hydrogen peroxide production. Macrophages infected with <i>L.</i> (<i>L.</i>) <i>infantum</i> were incubated with different concentrations of betulin (Be), lupeol (Lu), ursolic acid (UA), and miltefosine. After 24 h, the supernatants were collected and the NO and H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub> levels were quantified.
