Hydrogen peroxide production. Macrophages infected with L. (L.) infantum were incubated with different concentrations of betulin (Be), lupeol (Lu), ursolic acid (UA), and miltefosine. After 24 h, the supernatants were collected and the NO and H2O2 levels were quantified. Only infected macrophages treated with Lu produced H2O2. compared to control.
