Genome-Wide Association and Transcriptome-Wide Association Studies Identify Novel Susceptibility Genes Contributing to Colorectal Cancer

Figure 3

The locus-compare scatter plot for the association signals at DUSP10, POU5F1B, C11orf53, COLCA1, COLCA2, and GREM1-AS1 in the European cohort. Colocalization analyses results are shown for (a) DUSP10, (b) POU5F1B, (c) C11orf53, (d) COLCA1, (e) COLCA2, and (f) GREM1-AS1 genes. The locus-compare scatter plot compares the expression quantitative trait loci (eQTL) results and the genome-wide association study (GWAS) results, which indicates whether the GWAS top locus is also the leading SNP in the eQTL result. The eQTL results were from Genotype-Tissue Expression (GTEx) (v7). The GWAS results were from the European cohort ( cases, controls). The gene prioritized in each locus is shown on the -axis of the corresponding figure label. Chr.: chromosome.
