Mössbauer spectrum of 1 μm magnetic Dynabeads, containing 7 nm maghemite (γ-Fe2O3) nanoparticles. The spectrum was obtained at 6 K with a magnetic field of 6 T applied parallel to the gamma ray direction. The red and blue fit lines represent Fe3+ in A- and B-sites, respectively.
