Effect of Synthesis Temperature, Nucleation Time, and Postsynthesis Heat Treatment of ZnO Nanoparticles and Its Sensing Properties

UV-Vis spectroscopy results show direct band emission peak at around 3.2 nm and defect related DLE peaks in the range of 2.4∼2.7 nm for ZnO NPs with nucleation time of 0 min, 2 min, and 8 min. The results also show that DLE peaks disappear after annealing the sample (nucleation time: 2 min) at 400^°C.
