Aqueous solubility of freeze-dried NPs. The freeze-dried cakes were reconstituted in the same volume of water, vortexed for 1 min, and sonicated for 10 min, the insoluble material was removed by centrifugation, and the concentration of the total xanthones in the supernatant was measured by UV spectrophotometry. The results are presented as average solubility (µg/mL).
