Confocal fluorescence images of ischemic and nonischemic limb slices from mice after intravenous injection with FGNPs for 24 h. The blood vessels were immunostained against platelet/endothelial cell adhesion molecule 1 (PECAM-1). The cell nuclei were stained with 4′,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI).
