Bactericidal activity of AuNRs against oral bacteria growth. The -axis shows the optical density units of microbial growth. As growing control were used bacteria growing in culture media without inhibitor. AuNRs were used at final concentration of 150 μg/mL. The bactericidal activity of AuNRs was measured after 5, 15, 30, and 60 minutes after exposition. All experiments were done in triplicate to assess the veracity of results.
