Controlling Surface-Induced Nanocomposites by Lipoplexes for Enhanced Gene Transfer

(a) The DNA immobilization efficiency in the form of lipoplexes by surface-induced biomineralization for 8 h. (b) Calcium release from nanocomposites at pH 7.4. Nanocomposites were incubated in cell culture medium at pH 7.4 at 37°C for 24 h. Data were shown as means ± s.e. Statistical significance of differences was determined by the unpaired two-tailed Student’s -test. The calcium released from lipoplex-nanocomposites was not statistically significantly different compared to that from DNA-nanocomposites ().
