Optical Conduction Resonance in Self-Assembled Metal Nanoparticle Array-Dielectric Thin Films

Measured saturable absorptions in an ESA Au nanoparticle-PDDA-SiO₂ film at 740 nm (solid circles) and 800 nm. The thicknesses of the films are about 250 nm calculated by monolayers. The power we used for these measurements is 100 mW before the sample. The laser beam has a diameter about 4 mm with a repetition rate of 76 MHz.
